Sean Diddy Combs is putting a lot on the line — including his freaky sex life — to get some freedom. Feds arrested the rapper on Monday in New York City. A grand jury indicted him on racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution charges. Despite his celebrity status, a judge denied Diddy bail. Prosecutors declared him a flight risk. However, the music mogul isn’t giving up. He tells the prosecutors he will do just about anything to be out of jail.
After his denial, Diddy upped the terms of his bail offer. He promised to cut almost all contact with women if released. Per TMZ, the disgraced music executive filed documents declaring that he would hand over visitor logs to his Miami Beach home. The security company attached to his house would submit the logs to the government to ensure transparency. Diddy will limit his female interaction to only family members or the mothers of his children. As for non-female visitors, only family, property caretakers, and friends who are not co-conspirators can come to his property.
Also, Diddy agreed to submit himself to weekly drug testing, especially since authorities found drugs at the scene of his arrest. For his final terms, he will maintain no contact with known grand jury witnesses to avoid intimidation.
Diddy’s Offer Of $50 Million Was Ignored By Judge
It is no surprise that Diddy’s new bail terms address the concerns prosecutors raised when preparing his case. His alleged abusive relationship with women and his drug use that fueled the “Freak Off” sex parties are core components of the case. Initially, the artist, who is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, offered a fee of $50 million for his release. The Bad Boys Record founder put his Miami home, worth $46 million as collateral alongside his mother’s $2 million property.
Unfortunately, the hefty sum was not enough to convince Judge Robyn F. Tarnofsky, who told the court, “I thank your family members for coming, but I cannot release him.” Prosecutors argued that they were worried Diddy would intimidate witnesses and obstruct the case. They referenced Diddy allegedly calling his former artist Kalenna Harper 54 times the day before she made a statement. The drugs found in his hotel were also presented. Maybe Diddy’s new terms would move things in his favor.
