Prince William and his younger brother Prince Harry are beloved by millions. The two members of the royal family have often stolen attention and the spotlight. However, it seems that the one thing they never did was take up Sean “Diddy” Combs on his offers to party with him. The brothers seemingly steered clear of the disgraced rapper’s parties. Now, they are likely happy about that decision in the wake of Diddy’s arrest for sexual misconduct crimes.
According to People Magazine, Diddy’s former employee, Rob Shuter, is opening up about the music mogul’s infatuation with the royal brothers. Diddy wanted to spend time with Prince William and Prince Harry. He even allegedly offered to cover the cost of their travel, lodging, and security. However, they continued to turn down his offers.
Diddy Was Obsessed With Prince William and Prince Harry and Wanted to Spend Time With Them
“Diddy was obsessed with Prince Harry and Prince William. He thinks of himself as a king, so it makes perfect sense that he would like to have two princes in his entourage,” Shuter said. “[They] never accepted [the invites], they were never part of his world,” he added.
Diddy’s obsession with the princes was strong, so much so that he reportedly kept “framed pictures” of both William and Harry in his New York City apartment.
Meanwhile, other Diddy partygoers and close friends have been named in lawsuits against the rapper amid his arrest. People such as Cuba Gooding Jr., Aaron Hall, Jimmy Lovine, Usher, Ne-Yo and others have all been mentioned as either alleged offenders or witnesses. Meanwhile, stars like Justin Bieber, Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Lopez, Khloe Kardashian, and more have also been rumored to be connected to Diddy.
“This is very disturbing. Thankfully, it seems that William and Harry were smart enough to stay away from Diddy’s parties,” one person wrote via Reddit.
“The Royal Family is like Ashton Kutcher at this point. Can’t seem to stay away from extremely problematic people and bad at choosing friends,” another comment read.
Neither Prince William nor Prince Harry have spoken out about Diddy or his arrest.
