Few fans have criticized Canadian singer Shania Twain’s outfit choice, calling it age-inappropriate. On Tuesday, the singer announced she would be headlining a festival in her home country next year. Shania Twain’s festival announcement post featured photos that showed her rocking black ensembles. In the first snap, Twain rocked a see-through dress featuring an off-the-shoulder design and a puffy skirt. The singer topped off the country-inspired look with black knee-high boots and a cowboy hat. Twain was performing on stage and had an open-mouthed expression while holding a microphone in one hand.
Another picture showed the musician onstage in her element. Twain looked chic, wearing a corset top, black shorts, and a floor-length jacket. She also elevated her look with black knee-high boots, black gloves, and a top hat. In the caption, Twain revealed she would be headlining the Cavendish Beach Music Festival in Canada in July 2025.
“Let’s go @cavendishbeachmusic!! I’m headlining July 10, 2025…oh we’re going to have a lot of fun together😘 You can get tickets now and I’ll see you at the beach,” the 58-year-old wrote.
Despite Shania Twain’s exciting festival announcement, some followers were more interested in her attire. Unfortunately, not all the comments about Shania Twain’s outfit were positive.
“Ridiculous. The sheer jacket is too much for your age,” one fan wrote.
This is not the first time Twain has received criticism for her outfit, which many fans have found too revealing. Earlier in July, the songwriter came under fire after she wore another “inappropriate” outfit to perform at the Lytham festival. For her performance, Twain donned a sheer black bodysuit, an orange puffer jacket, and a black western hat. Despite her lovely looks, fans berated Twain for being underdressed and asked her to wear some clothes. However, despite the criticism, Twain remains unapologetically herself and is focused on bringing energy to the stage. Additionally, many more fans love her fashion sense and music and can’t wait to see her perform on stage.
