Clooney turned 63 on May 6 and was spotted hanging out with fellow actor Adam Sandler for his special day. The Ocean’s Eleven actor was photographed in Italy playing basketball with Sandler. Per photos obtained by Daily Mail, Clooney rocked a casual look comprising a black polo shirt and a pair of baggy jeans. The beloved actor couldn’t contain his smile as he scored a flawless hoop.
George Clooney and Adam Sandler are filming Noah Baumbach’s upcoming yet untitled Netflix flick. Details of the project remain mostly a secret. However, Deadline describes it as “a funny and emotional coming-of-age film about adults.” The movie is a first-time collaboration for Clooney and Sandler, who are good friends from when they first met on the set of Saturday Night Live in 1995.
The pair will star alongside Laura Dern, Greta Gerwig, Riley Keough, Josh Hamilton, Isla Fisher, Patrick Wilson, Charlie Rowe, and others.

Clooney’s 63rd birthday comes weeks after sources claimed his tight friendship with Brad Pitt is facing problems. Per reports, Amal and Pitt’s girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, aren’t making a connection, putting immense pressure on their men’s bond. The British-Lebanese human rights activist believes that Ramon doesn’t have good intentions for her husband’s longtime friend. “She thinks Ines doesn’t really work that hard in the jewelry business and tries to be someone that she’s not,” an insider said. “She considers her a social climber out to snag a rich man.”
As a result, Pitt and Clooney are caught in the drama between both women. They are not sure how to maneuver their relationship without hurting the women they love. Hopefully, it won’t come to Clooney having to pick sides between his wife and best friend.
