Aly Raisman was all smiles in a stylish minidress look as she showed Instagram her From My Head To My Toes book in April. Posting for her 2 million followers as she presented the consent-centric children’s book she’s penned, the Olympic gymnast stunned her fans in a chic, boucle minidress in checkered baby pink and white, looking glamorous and ditching her usual sweats and leggings outfits.
Gaining over 15,000 likes for her share, Aly smiled as she let everyone know that her book is now available, and one look at the comments shows a fanbase that’s buying. Aly has three Gold, two Silver, and one Bronze under her Olympic belt.

Looking classy, Aly posed seated on a pink couch and by floral-accent walls. Channeling her girly side as she modeled a thigh-skimming minidress with short sleeves and a v-neck, fold-down-effect neck detail, the Massachusetts native showed off her toned legs as she grinned for the camera.
Holding up a copy of her book and its colorful cover, Aly kept glam with barely there, strappy sandals in tan, plus a discreet pendant necklace that drew attention to her neck and face. Wearing her dark locks down and blow-dried into soft curls, the Aerie ambassador wore matte makeup that showed off her high cheekbones, dropping only a white heart emoji for her caption.
“Just ordered! Can’t wait to read this to my students!” one fan replied.
Getting Children to Learn About Consent
Aly’s book cover may come with a cheerful image of a child doing a cartwheel, but the message is serious. The star joins the likes of fellow Olympians Simone Biles and McKayla Maroney in having been a victim of the child sex abuse crimes committed by imprisoned USA Gymnastics physician Larry Nassar. This book is all about finding child-appropriate ways to teach little ones about what’s okay versus not okay.
Speaking to People about her book, Aly said: “I hope that From My Head To My Toes, which features art by the talented Brittany Jackson, will help empower parents, guardians [and] anyone who picks up this book to talk about consent and body autonomy with kids in a positive and approachable way.”
In 2018, Nassar was sentenced to up to 175 years behind bars for his crimes. Aly continues to advocate for consent awareness. When prompted to choose an organization to donate a small portion of her Aerie clothing collabs to, she chose a nonprofit that works to prevent child sex abuse.
