McKayla Maroney showed off her summer style and her love of late-night fun on Instagram last month. Posting figure-flaunting footage of herself, the Olympic gymnast stunned in a backless blue dress, hitting the shore for her caption-mentioned “night swim” while delighting her 1.3 million followers.
Posting in the wake of headlines she made for supporting fellow Olympian Simone Biles at the 2024 Paris Olympics, McKayla wowed in a halterneck dress, with footage also showing her striking poses on the beach. Fans left the California-born star over 8,000 likes.

Shot from behind as she turned her face to the camera from a beach at night, McKayla flaunted her toned back, arms, and shoulders in a backless evening dress.
With her halter top highlighting her athlete figure, the brunette stunned as she displayed her long locks worn down, going for a damp-haired finish as she shot the lens a gaze. Eventually facing the camera and walking toward it, McKayla flashed her curves via a plunging neckline and chest cut-out, going peephole-style as she wore zero accessories.
Glowing from dewy makeup as she wore blush and red lipstick, McKayla sent fans a quick smile while seated on the shore, closing her video with a slight run and more standing poses.
Showing Off Her Tiny Tennis Outfit
In a caption, the gymnast wrote: “Night swim.” McKayla also chose singer Billie Eilish’s music to accompany her video.
McKayla may be known for her leotards, but the fashionista will turn any occasion into a style display.
Earlier this year, the Glowy by McKayla wellness founder showed off a cute blue tennis outfit as she updated her Instagram from the court. Marking Wimbledon and admitting that tennis isn’t her strong suit, she wrote: “Hope everyoneโs been enjoying their summer.” McKayla continued:
“Wimbledon has been so fun to watch! but after playing some tennis today, Iโm sad to tell you, the only thing I know how to serve well is an outfit ๐ฉ Gymnastics deeply engrained in me that bent arms are evil, and itโs gona take some serious work to retrain that. ๐ The last slide was me, but much worse.”
Fans left the post over 72,000 likes. The upload also attracted likes from LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne and Olympian Aly Raisman. Much like Massachusetts-born Aly, McKayla retired from professional gymnastics in 2016.
