Jack Skellington is one of the characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas and as part of the Christmas update, he appears in Disney Dreamlight Valley. The good news is that you can get him for free if you complete the Something Comes A’Knocking quest. Let’s take a closer look at how to get Jack Skellington in Disney Dreamlight Valley. The most difficult part of the quest is finding 4 matryoshka dolls because their spawning locations are random and different for everybody.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Complete Something Comes A’Knocking Quest
Before we start, it’s worth mentioning a few conditions that are necessary for the quest to appear. The fact is that some players do not have access to the Something Comes A’Knocking quest, and there may be several reasons for this. So, here are the conditions that need to be met for everything to work properly:
- Make sure you have installed the latest game update.
- Make sure you have the Forgotten Lands biome unlocked.
If everything works properly, you can start the quest.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: Matryoshka Dolls Locations
The first and more difficult part will be finding 4 matryoshka dolls. As mentioned above, their spawning locations may vary for each player.
Usually, the first matryoshka doll will be waiting for you at the Plaza to initiate the quest, and then you will start looking for the others. So go to this location and explore it well to find the first quest item, after which you can talk to Merlin to learn more.
We found the second one in the Forest of Valor, north of the local well. Matryoshka dolls often appear in this location, so be sure to explore everything here.
The third matryoshka doll was found on one of the floating islands on Dazzle Beach. If you have it here too, just walk up to it and press the E button to pick it up.
After a long search, the last matryoshka doll was found again on the territory of the Plaza. As you can see, this is where the chance of their spawning is greater, so it is recommended to start searching from here.
How To Use Matryoshka Dolls
So when you’ve carefully explored Peaceful Meadow and found all the quest items, all you have to do is summon Jack Skellington. Initiating his appearance in the valley is more similar to the ritual you need to perform in the Forgotten Lands. So, go to this biome and find a tall, thin tree without leaves, with a pumpkin carved on its trunk.
When you’re there with all 4 matryoshka dolls, interact with the tree to insert them. Once that’s done, Jack Skellington will eventually appear in front of you, and you can talk to him. The last thing you need to do to complete the quest is to build a house for him. To accomplish this, you’ll need to talk to Scrooge McDuck and spend 5000 Star Coins, so make sure you have enough currency.
