For the latter, many people enjoy fighting the horrors of this place with friends, and if you’re one of those, you must know how to play with others. Thankfully, the game doesn’t take too long to unlock this feature, and you can group with others during the game’s first hours. So, buckle up because here we’ll tell you how to play Co-Op Multiplayer in Diablo 4.
Enabling Co-Op Multiplayer in Diablo 4 Explained
To unlock the co-op multiplayer mode in Diablo 4, you only have to finish the prologue. Once you reach the central hub and see more players, you can invite others to your party to explore as a team. To do this, you must go to your social tab to invite your friends or anyone inside the Battle.net platform. It is important to remember Diablo 4 has cross-play and cross-platform enabled, which means console and PC players can venture together without issues.
Co-Op Multiplayer Bonuses
While grouping up isn’t required, the game encourages you to group with others to get certain bonuses. The biggest bonus from grouping with other players is the experience boost. Anyone who uses Diablo 4‘s Co-Op Multiplayer feature will benefit from a 10% experience increase. Yet, all loot is individual, which is also good. This feature is great if you want to reach the game’s level cap and start doing some of the most challenging content. If not, you can also play alone, but trust us, most content benefits from banding together with other players.
Does Diablo 4 Have Local Co-Op? Answered
Yes, it does. Diablo 4 also features local co-op for consoles, which means you can play the game with another person in split-screen mode. If you do not like grouping up with random players, you can grab a friend and play from your couch. It is important to note this feature is only available for console players. PC players only have Diablo 4’s online co-op multiplayer mode, which isn’t bad, but will only pair them with players on their friends’ list or random ones they meet.
It is nice to see Activision Blizzard offering many options for this game in terms of multiplayer. This company is known for making games with a heavy focus on multiplayer, and having these many options available during the first hours is great. And now that you know how to play co-op multiplayer in Diablo 4, get ready to invite your friends and tackle some of the content this new entry has.
