The Selling Sunset Season 7 reunion upped the ante by bringing in a lie-detector test. Viewers were intrigued to see some of the cast take on the lie detector test. Most notably, Jason Oppenheim was hooked up to the machine and asked a question that was at the heart of a lot of this season’s action.
Jason Oppenheim Didn’t Look Too Nervous To Take a Lie Detector Test
The questions facing one-half of the twin duo responsible for Selling Sunset started off easy enough. Jason Oppenheim was asked a few no-brainers — if Brett was his brother, to which he said yes, and whether he was wearing a blue suit, which he also confirmed.
Things heated up when Jason was asked if he had just dated ex Marie-Lou Nurk, for the show. He said no, which was determined to be the truth.
Next, Selling Sunset reunion host Tan France asked the question on everyone’s mind this season, “Are you still in love with Chrishell?”
“In love? No,” Jason replied, nervously fidgeting before the lie detector test administrator determined it was a lie.
The whole cast reacted, with Chrishell Stause smiling, slightly cringing as everyone erupted around her.
Marie-Lou Nurk Insisted Jason Didn’t Care as Much About Chrishell Stause as It Looked
When Tan France brought out Marie-Lou Nurk at the Selling Sunset reunion, it was undeniable that her tension with Chrishell that season would be a major focus. However, Marie-Lou insisted that off-camera, she and Jason Oppenheimer were never that preoccupied with his ex.
“Chrishell was just a topic on camera. We had an amazing relationship,” she said. “We were loving each other so much.”
The response was frustrating to Chrishell, who asked,
“Do you see what the problem is for me? I’m a topic for you on camera.”
“I get tired of being people’s topic and punching bag on camera. Clearly, it’s not a fun place to be. I feel like everyone that came at me this season, that’s why I got so frustrated,” Chrishell leveled.
