Jeannie Mai and Jeezy made the headlines again following reports that the pair are still living together. Recall that the news of Jeezy and Jeannie Mai’s divorce broke on the internet earlier in September, only two years after the duo’s marriage. In the filing, the Grammy-nominated star noted that the former couple had no hope of reconciliation. But despite everything that has happened, Mai and Jeezy are still under the same roof. However, there is little or no communication between them.
The Former Couple Still Stays Together
Jeannie Mai and Jeezy are estranged at the moment, but the pair see each other almost daily. Recently, sources familiar with the situation revealed to TMZ that the duo was still living together in Georgia. However, staying under the same roof didn’t entail anything more than crossing paths while coming and going from the house. According to the insiders, things were very awkward between the former couple, and there was very little interaction. The sources also claimed that Mai and Jeezy had a prenup, which likely didn’t favor the television host, possibly turning up the tension.
Although the sources say Jeannie Mai and Jeezy aren’t really on talking terms, their living situation sparked speculations about whether they plan to reconcile. But in the meantime, the rapper and The Real host’s priority remains their infant daughter, Monaco.
Inside Jeezy and Jeannie Mai’s Divorce
Fans were left heartbroken when reports revealed Jeezy filed for divorce from Mai on September 14.
