Some even think it could lead to some very dangerous situations.
In Touch Weekly reports that Ben Affleck’s loved ones are worried about the way he’s treating Jennifer Lopez. Despite the fact that the couple are moving ahead with their divorce, they’re engaging in some flirty behavior. Now, Affleck’s inner circle think he’s playing with fire, especially because of his past addiction issues.

“Ben’s got a very addictive personality, and a lot of people think now that he’s sober, he’s switched vices and become a love addict,” an insider dished. “It’s obviously giving him some sort of buzz to be sort of back and forth with JLo, even though he has no intention of going any further than having a little fun.”
The source went on to reveal that everyone, including Jennifer Garner, “thinks it’s a terrible idea” for Affleck and Lopez to continue on this path. Despite their feelings, the actor claims he still wants a divorce. Meanwhile, the source says that the odds aren’t good that Ben and Jen will be able to fix their marital issues.
“For one thing, he’s messing with JLo’s head, which is not kind. And it’s also sending mixed messages to the kids, which isn’t healthy,” the informant continued. “It’s just putting everyone back on this awful roller-coaster. It really seems like he’s falling into a very toxic pattern, in the long run this isn’t going to be good for anyone.”
Those close to Ben Affleck are said to be trying to get him off the “self-destructive” pattern. Instead, they’re encouraging him to acting with “intention instead of following every urge he gets.”
