However, a source confirmed to Page Six that despite their separation, a divorce wasn’t in the works just yet. According to the insider, Ben Affleck refrained from filing for divorce from Jennifer Lopez because of his desire to protect his wife and one-time love interest from further public humiliation. On her part, the singer feels wronged, knowing the implication of a fourth failed marriage in the eye of the public, especially one as publicized as Bennifer 2.0. The source explained,
“She’s furious. He has humiliated her … because she made a big deal that he’s the love of her life. She has not fully accepted it is over.”
