Jennifer Lopez is finally breaking her silence about her split from Ben Affleck. The singer filed for divorce in August after just two years of marriage. Recently, she opened up about the decision to call it quits from the Batman actor in a new interview. During the sit-down, she didn’t hold back as she got candid about the pain she felt ending her marriage. She even spoke about the future and possibly dating again.
During her honest conversation with Nikki Glaser for Interview Magazine, Jennifer Lopez shared some emotional thoughts on her life and split from Ben Affleck. She revealed that despite the heartbreak of ending her marriage, she was excited about the future.
“I did all the work and look at where I am, and then it was like my whole f—ing world exploded,” she said. “You have to be complete, if you want something that’s more complete. You have to be good on your own. I thought I learned that, but I didn’t. And then, this summer, I had to be like, ‘I need to go off and be on my own. I want to prove to myself that I can do that,'” Lopez continued, adding that “it feels lonely, unfamiliar, scary. It feels sad. It feels desperate.”

JLo went on to reveal that she needs to stop looking for happiness inside of other people. She knows that she first has to be happy with herself or a relationship won’t be able to work. She admits that she previously looked for others to make her happy. However, now, she’s doing it all on her own.
Lopez even approached the subject of dating again following her fourth divorce. She claimed that she’s “not looking for anybody” to get romantically involved with. However, fans aren’t so sure.
“Dating is definitely in the cards for her again. She never stays single long,” one fan commented on Reddit.
“Yea sure… the womans been engaged 6 times and married 4 times. I give it less than a year before shes in some relationship,” said another.
“She’ll realize she’s falling out of the public eye a little and date someone ridiculous. I don’t think she’s been on the Pete Davidson train yet and that’d definitely get her attention,” a third person wrote.
