Details about the snow plow accident Jeremy Renner had endured are slowly coming out, including that he wrote a goodbye note to his family while hospitalized. He did his first interview since the accident with Diane Sawyer, which is set to release on April 6 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC, where he was able to look back on the accident while divulging more information about what happened during and after his injuries.
Jeremy Renner had been trying to save one of his family members, his nephew Alexander Fries, from the Sno-Cat, which the break was not engaged, leading it to continue moving. When trying to stop the vehicle, the Avengers star was crushed. When the interview with Sawyer was announced, details emerged that he broke over 30 bones, including other injuries like a collapsed lung. While lying in the hospital, he thought he would not make it, so he prepared a farewell to his loved ones.
“I’m writing down notes in my phone to – last words to my family,” he said.

It will also include the 911 call that was made by a neighbor who came to help the injured actor. Other clips that have been shown include the actor recalling trying to save his nephew and how he would “do it again because it was going right at my nephew.”
More appearances of the actor will be made. While recovering at home with his family, Jeremy Renner will not only show his face in this upcoming interview but appear at the premiere of his upcoming Disney Plus series, Rennervations, on April 11 at Regency Village Theater in Los Angeles. He will also stay for the Q&A after the screening.
