Justin Timberlake‘s drunk driving scandal might be behind him, but details from the fateful night continue to haunt him. More than four months after his arrest, the identity of one of the partygoers has been revealed, and a sentimental connection is at play.
Before his run-in with the police, Timberlake was reportedly partying at The American Hotel with a woman named Estee Stanley. She has been identified as his wife Jessica Biel’s former stylist and his former business partner. Stanley has quite a reputation in Hollywood, having styled A-listers like Brad Pitt, Penelope Cruz, and Demi Moore. She also doubles as an interior designer. Per Page Six, Stanley shares a tight bond with Timberlake and Biel. In 2012, she hosted their engagement party at her Los Angeles home. That same year, she and the In Time actor launched a line of home goods with Timberlake called HomeMint. “I don’t think I would do it if we weren’t in it together,” he said of their collaboration at the time. “We’ve known each other for a long time and have worked together… We really have a like-minded vision.”
For the social gathering, where Timberlake allegedly had just one Martini, he joined Stanley and her producer husband, Byran Furst.
Justin Timberlake’s Arresting Officer Questioned by Woman Friend
It is unsure what role the former stylist played during the Mirrors singer’s arrest. However, sources previously told TMZ a female friend of Timberlake tried to intervene. The informant alleged that a couple was following the singer in a vehicle when the cops stopped him. A woman stepped out and reportedly asked officers, “Are you going to arrest Justin Timberlake?” She urged the officers to let Timberlake go, promising to drive him home. However, when they didn’t budge, she offered to drive his rental car back to her home. The cops allowed her even though she had allegedly been drinking.
In September, the Cry Me a River singer pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of driving while alcohol-impaired. A judge ordered him to pay a fine of $ 500 with a $260 surcharge, give a public service announcement, and do 25 hours of community service.
