After his recent performance left many unimpressed, Justin Timberlake won’t be winning any endowed trophies from fans. The singer-songwriter went viral following a wardrobe malfunction that exposed his groin area, giving the audience an unexpected display.
The incident made him the internet’s latest trolling victim, with some dubbing the bulge in his pants nonexistent. The jokes at Timberlake’s expense began after a video of his Nashville concert circulated on TikTok. The clip captured him in the air, supported by a tight harness, while singing his hit song Mirrors. Timberlake’s soulful vocals could not keep the spotlight away from the harness’ triangle-style straps on his groin area.
He tried to keep it professional by continuing the performance without drawing attention to his lower half. However, he could not help but tug at his shirt to cover the bulge. Unfortunately, the material was too short to hide the area, but some fans believed there was nothing to cover. TMZ shared that the TikTok comments exploded with jabs at Timberlake’s lower half, with someone dubbing it “micro.” Another described it as a “cute little guy!” with more critics trolling the singer on X.
These fans did not support the outlet’s use of the term “bulge” while describing the Prince of Pop’s incident. An X user wondered if Timberlake paid for the headline, while a second claimed he needed the attention. The roasting continued with a third tweeting, “You call that a bulge?” More social media users echoed similar sentiments, with one noting, “That’s not much of a bulge…”
Justin Timberlake Canceled His Oklahoma Concert
A month before his wardrobe mishap stole the spotlight, we covered that Timberlake was forced to cancel a concert. He broke the news to fans on Instagram in a lengthy message, revealing he was heartbroken about disappointing them. Nonetheless, he needed to prioritize his health over the Oklahoma show. In his words:
“I’m so sorry Oklahoma City. I have to cancel the show on 12/2. I hurt my back in NOLA, and my doctors have instructed me to rest a little bit longer.”
Timberlake injured his back while in Louisiana City but hoped to recover before the Oklahoma gig. Since things did not go as planned, he pleaded for fans’ understanding and thanked them for their support. The canceled show marked the second on the SexyBack singer’s Forget Tomorrow world tour. Timberlake was scheduled to perform at the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina, earlier this year.
However, he canceled the June 8 show weeks before the date without a reason. Unlike his Oklahoma announcement, fans were notified of the cancellation through their emails. A similar incident occurred in October when Timberlake was scheduled to perform in Newark, New Jersey. The show was suddenly canceled an hour before the singer was meant to hit the stage, leaving many disappointed. However, he surprised fans by rescheduling the October 8 performance to October 15.
Given the trolling over his recent performance, Justin Timberlake may want to reconsider performing while suspended in the air.
