Kenya Moore is putting The Real Housewives of Atlanta in her rearview. Almost two months after shocking fans with the news of her return for Season 16, Moore is exiting the franchise on bad terms. Her shocking exit comes just weeks after her suspension for drama involving fellow housewife Brittany Eady.
Sources close to the situation reveal that Moore will definitely not return for the upcoming Season 16. The Bravo team came to the harsh decision following their earlier suspension of Moore for allegedly distributing sexually explicit content belonging to Eady. The Insider said of the Moore’s departure:
“Kenya is not returning to RHOA this season. Bravo wanted her to remain on the cast for this season but she decided it was best for herself to leave after how she felt the incident was handled and how she was treated.”
Unfortunately, the former Miss USA titleholder won’t be leaving RHOA without causing trouble. A source told TMZ that she is considering legal options against Bravo because she is unhappy about how they handled things. Recall that Moore recently informed fans of her return on Instagram. “I may be Gone With the Wind Fabulous, but I’m not going anywhere #sweet16 #longeststandpeach,” she wrote.
The drama all started when the housewives got into an altercation while filming Season 16. Eady allegedly threatened Moore and used the word “gun” during the argument. Although it remains unfounded if Eady truly threatened to use a weapon, Moore proceeded to allegedly display posters with explicit images of Eady at the grand opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa in Atlanta, Georgia, afterward. She reportedly found the images online.
The newcomer housewife addressed the revenge porn controversy, writing, “It’s never a good feeling being targeted or HAZED BY SOMEONE I thought would embrace me into a new circle, that I never met.” However, Moore denied the allegations. “I would never engage in revenge porn,” she wrote on social media. “I have never distributed private images or footage of anyone, nor solicited images owned by others to use to threaten or blackmail.”
