Lady Gaga’s Fortnite collaboration has inspired Little Monsters everywhere to check out the game for the first time. One of those die-hard fans was none other than Kesha. After Lady Gaga’s Fortnite skin arrived on Thursday, the “Blow” singer showed her support for her famous friend by downloading the game and purchasing her character in the Item Shop. Kesha then put her new skin to use by playing a match. Luckily for us, she documented the whole thing on X. You need to see her posts because they’re hilarious.
Kesha’s First Time Playing Fortnite Was So Chaotic
Get this: Kesha’s Fortnite experience marked her first time ever playing a video game. Since she knows nothing about Fortnite or games in general, the star had to ask her followers how she would even get started.
It seemed she learned fast because the next day, Kesha gave her followers an exciting update: She had downloaded Fortnite and bought Lady Gaga’s skin in the Item Shop. The singer gave fans a glimpse at her gaming experience by posting a photo of her character waiting for a match in the lobby. The picture revealed that she chose to use “keshaishot” as her username, which is honestly so iconic.
Kesha then posted a photo of her character jumping off the Battle Bus. She had the funniest reaction to her “falling.”
Kesha’s gaming adventures continued with her trying to build for the first time.
Sadly, she ended up dying in Fortnite minutes later after someone had shot her character.
However, that wasn’t the end of her Fortnite experience as she began playing with fans shortly afterward. One of her followers posted a screenshot of a lobby featuring Kesha’s character surrounded by other Lady Gaga skins.
Lady Gaga debuted in Fortnite on Thursday, Feb. 22, as part of the second season of Fortnite Festival. The event, which first kicked off with The Weeknd in December, includes a rhythm-based mode similar to Rock Band and Guitar Hero. Players who participate in Fortnite Festival will be given festival points, which can then be used to unlock new instruments and jam tracks, as well as a Lady Gaga skin not available in the Item Shop.
