Miley Cyrus‘ recent W Magazine feature revealed a lot, not limited to texting Beyonce being a part of her daily routine, plus an interesting choice of workout gear. Speaking to the magazine earlier this month, the 31-year-old singer had fans discussing the latter — and with Miley’s Instagram packed with photos of her super-toned figure, they’re likely wondering if the treadmill-in-heels thing is worth a try.
In August 2023, Miley shared Instagram photos promoting her “Used To Be Young” track. Posing in leggy fishnets as she went pantless, the pop star more than proved that whatever she’s doing in the gym is working.
Miley Cyrus Shows Workout Results On Instagram
Lounging around on a studio floor as she wore a molded green bustier top and matching briefs, Miley put her own twist on the latest trend. Choosing rubbery, plastic-like fabrics that clung to her every curve, the former Disney star flaunted her toned legs in a black pair of fishnet stockings, flashing both her trim waistline and her washboard abs.
Miley also kicked her legs right up over her head for a fun floor stretch as another moment in the shoot got more energetic, with all of her posts captioned with mentions of the August 2023-released track.
W Magazine, meanwhile, had gone with a mention of January 2023-released single “Flowers” as it introduced its cover face. “Miley Cyrus Finally Gets Her “Flowers,” it wrote.
Admits Working Out ‘In Heels’
When prompted to discuss being a fitspo face online, Miley noted:
“My lifestyle is extremely clean. Sobriety is a big part of it. My mantra is, like any athlete, “Practice how you perform.” So that’s why I practice in my heels.”
“The gym looks really tough, but then I’ve got my ivory Gucci slingbacks because they remind me of Marilyn Monroe. I train in heels, mostly. I’m interested in feminizing the workout space, because so much of the workout equipment is ugly,” she added. Cyrus likely didn’t pick any brand to randomly mention. The singer is signed to designer Gucci.
Fans also know that Miley is massively into outdoor hikes, walks with her dog, plus both yoga and Pilates. The ex to Liam Hemsworth also discussed going from trying to prove herself to finally being “free” as the magazine noted her 2024 Grammy win.
“I love being an adult. I have a rule that I don’t look up or don’t look down at anyone. I just look, which allows me the clarity to see the world for what it really is and people for who they really are,” Cyrus continued.
