Miley Cyrus continues to deal with major family drama, especially where her father Billy Ray Cyrus is concerned. Miley and her dad have reportedly been engaged in a bitter feud for months. While Billy Ray’s marriage to Firerose was said to be a big cause for the duo’s falling out, it seems they may now have bigger issues. Things have reportedly gone from bad to worse after some leaked audio and text messages show the Achy Breaky Heart singer hurling insults about his family.

This week, a shocking audio of a conversation between Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose was leaked. In the recording, Billy Ray can be heard screaming at his wife. However, he is also heard speaking about his ex-wife, Tish Cyrus, as well as their kids. He also seems to speak poorly of his daughter, Miley Cyrus, per NY Daily News.

While it seems that Billy Ray may have been referencing Miley in his “devil” comments, the outlet suggests that he may have also been talking about Tish. Either way, Miley seems to be sending a clear message about her feelings toward her parents on social media.

Not long after Billy Ray’s explosive audio leak, Miley took to Twitter to post photos of herself with her mother, Tish. In the pics, she hugs her mom and the two smile for the camera. Of course, it’s not the first time that Miley has seemingly taken her mother’s side in the family feud.

During a previous interview with David Letterman, Miley Cyrus revealed that her mother is her “hero.” She also slammed Billy Ray Cyrus in the process. “I also inherited the narcissism from my father,” she added, per Us Weekly.

It has been reported that Billy Ray Cyrus was hoping to mend fences with Miley Cyrus now that he and Firerose have split. However, the leaked audio may prevent the duo from putting an end to their rift.
