Miranda Lambert was born in Longview, Texas, and the country music star is proud of her roots. She recently celebrated being a Texan with her Instagram post, taking to the platform to share three photos, including one of herself wearing a Wade Bowen shirt and another with her husband, Brendan McLoughlin (seemingly ending the speculation that there is trouble in her marriage after his alleged inappropriate interaction with a woman at her bar).
She captioned the post with a simple message, writing, “Tell me you’re from Texas without telling me you’re from Texas.” The comment section has created some interesting feedback from fans, some of whom are from Texas and some who are not. They include, “Okay, Texas Girl, I’m from Texas, and we do love our river rafting and ice cold beer with BBQ,” “Home of the famous Skyrockets,” and “I wanna be a cowgirl!”
There have also been comments praising Lambert’s beauty and all Texan women. “All beautiful women come from Texas,” a fan shared. Another shared similar thoughts, writing, “Y’all it’s hotter than hell and deep in the heart of.”
Miranda Lambert Talks About Being Southern
Miranda Lambert is very proud about being Southern and this is something she has discussed before in multiple interviews. “Well, I’m Texan and Southern … Sometimes there’s this connotation with Southern people, and the one thing I know about us is that we’re welcome, come one, come all, come as you are,” she previously said, per Southern Living. “And I take so much pride in that.”
In the same quote, she also discussed her cookbook, saying, “Our book is very much about being Southern, but it’s the not judgmental kind, and that’s the most important thing to me. It’s come as you are; stay as long as you need to. That’s Southern to me.”
Yep, just in case you didn’t know it, Miranda Lambert is a Southern gal, and she’s proud of it!
