Supermodel Naomi Campbell is slamming Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintor. While Campbell is known for her outspoken views on the industry, it has still come as a surprise to many that she now has some choice words for Wintour, as the two previously had a long and friendly relationship.
The surprising moment happened yesterday at Harlem’s Fashion Row Fashion Show and Style Awards, where Campbell was presented with the fashion icon award. Moments before Campbell took the stage, Wintour made a speech, which caused an uneasy silence in the crowd, “I am a very punctual person and I have the honor of presenting tonight to someone how is often late.” Wintour was referring to Campbell’s late arrival at the prestigious event.
However, not one to be out done, Campbell clapped back as she took the stage to accept her award from Harper’s Bazaar’s Editor-in-Chief Samira Nasr, “Yes, Naomi is always late. But I believe in my high power, and I want to thank my high power for having me be here.“
Campbell further shaded at Wintour by stating, “It wasn’t my choice to have the other lady [meaning Wintor]. I’d much rather have this [meaning Nasr].” While the audience gasped at the slight the model made towards Wintour, she later credited her for helping to shape her career.
Naomi Campbell Rumored To Be Dating German Music Producer
Naomi Campbell’s unexpected feud with Anna Wintour isn’t the only thing keeping the talented star in the headlines; several reputable news outlets have reported that she is dating music producer Rampa aka Gregor Sutterlin.
The pair were first spotted getting cozy together in Greece earlier this year. A close friend of Rampa’s confirmed to The Sun newspaper that the pair had spent the summer together and that, “They’ve got real chemistry.” The source added that Rampa is “keen to see where it goes and they have been very much acting like a couple.“
Naomi Campbell’s last high profile relationship was with Russian billionaire and business executive Vladislav Doronin from 2008-2013.
