Bravo fans are feeling hopeful about a potential NeNe Leakes return after seeing her with Kenya Moore. The two reality stars, who became household names after Real Housewives of Atlanta, have been all over the headlines lately. In case you need a refresher, NeNe hasn’t been on RHOA since Season 12. She was let go after the reunion and, following her departure, went on a tirade against Andy Cohen and Bravo. Not only did she accuse them of creating a toxic and biased workplace, she sued them for discrimination.
Consequently, this placed NeNe on Bravo’s sh*t list, which also kept her out of work. Kenya Moore, on the other hand, is set to return to RHOA for Season 16. However, her time on Atlanta’s Sweet 16 will be cut short. For those who haven’t heard … Kenya was involved in quite a scandal while filming. According to multiple reports, the former Miss USA was asked to turn in her peach during the middle of production. Why? Well, she allegedly showed inappropriate photos of newcomer Britt Eady during an event.
Season 16 will feature some returning faces, like Cynthia Bailey, Phaedra Parks, and Porsha Williams. However, many are pulling for NeNe’s return alongside Kenya. (After all, the five of them, including Kandi Burruss (Seasons 2-15), created iconic moments for the franchise for many years.) In the early 2020s, many fans (and cast members) said NeNe’s time with the network was over. But could that all be changing? It’s starting to look that way.
Will NeNe Return to Bravo in 2025?
Many fans gave up on seeing NeNe Leakes back on Bravo, but her recent video with Kenya Moore has given them hope. On December 19, 2024, NeNe shared a cheeky video of her and Kenya in the ATL airport. “Oh my god, you guys,” Leakes said in the video. “Look who I ran into.”
NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore certainly had their hiccups while filming the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Before NeNe’s departure, the pair were in a terrible place. However, seeing the two reality stars exchange laughs, smiles, and big hugs makes people excited about the future. “That’s good enough, Andy. Get the cameras now,” someone wrote on X. “No matter how much they get into with each other, at the end of the day, both ladies have a lot of love for one another,” someone else said. “Their interactions will always make me happy,” a third user commented.
Now, it’s unclear if NBC Universal is working on bringing NeNe back into the Bravosphere, but it would seem that way. Previously, Andy Cohen chose not to mention NeNe’s name in interviews and on his show Watch What Happens Live. “I think she would probably prefer that I keep her name out of my mouth, and that is what I’m going to honor,” he said in 2021. However, as of late, the dynamic host has given NeNe praise on air and during interviews.
There have also been reports of a potential spin-off featuring some of the OG wives, including Leakes and Moore. This, coupled with her appearance alongside Ariana Madix on E!, has watchers believing the door is open. What do you think?
