A mother in Oklahoma accused a daycare director of hitting her son right in front of her. According to her, this was the straw that broke the camel’s back, as her son claimed that the same individual had hurt him in the past.
The troubling accusations were shared on TikTok by the mother, who goes by Hippie Bee. She regularly posts her thoughts and also uploads family content, many times featuring her children. The clip attached above quickly went viral, garnering 436,100 views, 31,200 likes, and more than 4,100 comments.
The Oklahoma mother, in tears, explained what had occurred. According to her, she walked into her son’s daycare and found the child sitting on the floor, crying. She alleged that the director, whom she identified as Miss Brandi, was sitting over him.
“I just watched her nudge him right in his face,” Bee said. “And I just couldn’t even believe… I can’t believe that I watched what I watched.”
Bee then talked to her son, Stony, and asked him what had occurred. The boy said that Miss Brandi had hit him in the face. Then, Bee detailed that her son had arrived home with a scratch on his arm. She said that the boy blamed Miss Brandi for the scratch, but she didn’t want to believe it at first, thinking that someone else was behind it.
‘My Worst Nightmare’
All her doubts disappeared when she walked into the daycare, which she name-dropped: La Petite Academy.
“So here we are,” the Oklahoma mother said. “We’re sitting here waiting for the police to come, because I’m not leaving until I make a police report, and then I need to go in and get the rest of their clothes. And their stuff. Because I’m not bringing them back here tomorrow. Because god only knows what’s going on when I’m not here.”
Bee wrote in the clip’s description, “Literally my worst nightmare.”
Reactions
Many viewers were in shock by the allegations Bee raised. One said, “Miss Brandy would’ve got nudged right back.” Another one commented, “Don’t cry, boo! Send me the location.”
Others blasted daycares in general. One wrote, “I will live in poverty before I send my kids to daycare.” Another one added, “As a daycare worker. I hate to say it. You cannot trust ANYONE. Trust your children.”
The Oklahoma mother has not posted an update regarding the director. It is unclear if she ended up making a police report. Certainly, she will not be taking her son to the daycare any time soon.
