One TikTok user recorded when pop star Olivia Rodrigo fell through a trap door in the center of the stage while performing on the Guts tour.
The video starts with Olivia opening the show, ready to greet Dallas, Texas. She immediately starts running across the stage when suddenly, an empty space appears beneath her. She clearly didn’t expect it to be there because she falls in a way that desn’t appear to be stunted. Fortunately, the fall wasn’t too far down because she immediately gets up and lets her fans know that she’s alright, even saying, “Oh my Gd, that was fun! I’m okay!”
TikTok users immediately went to the replies to comment on the situation, with many saying that she handled it incredibly well. The hole in the center of the floor could have posed a much greater safety hazard, and the venue should be glad that Rodrigo wasn’t seriously hurt. Fortunately, Rodrigo was able to complete the show and the hole, which turned out to be a trap door, was sealed to prevent further issues. This isn’t the first time the singer has been faced with an issue while on-stage. Rodrigo had suffered serious wardrobe malfunction earlier this year in which her top began to unfasten while performing. Just like with this incident, she handled that one like a pro, showcasing just how well she can take being in the public eye. Hopefully, she doesn’t have to worry about anther on-stage issue for a long, long time!
