The popular Jason Bateman-led Netflix show Ozark surpassed 4 billion viewing minutes after the premiere of Season 4’s Part One Premiere. The Netflix crime thriller stars Jason Bateman as Marty Byrde, Laura Linney as Wendy Byrde, and Julia Garner as Ruth, who also stars in the new Netflix series Inventing Anna.
The Jason Bateman Netflix series surpassed 4 billion viewing minutes of streaming during the last week of January across the series’ 37 episodes that have aired so far. According to the Nielsen Charts, which tracks streaming ratings, the Ozark Season 4 Part One Premiere has hit the fourth-highest streaming total ever.
Interestingly enough, the viewership for the season for Jason Bateman’s Ozark has been evenly split between genders. This is unusual for streaming content to have an equal amount of male to female viewers as shows fall towards one end or the other, for the most part. Apparently, 60% of Ozark Season 4’s audience falls between the ages of 35-64. The rest of the viewing audience falls between 18-34 at 20%, and lastly, the remaining audience at adults over the age of 65.
Netflix released a YouTube video the other day announcing Ozark Season 4 Part Two dates. The final seven episodes will be premiering on the streaming service on April 29th, 2022.
TV Line describes the final episodes:
“The final episodes will also bring resolution to the flash-forward car wreck involving the Byrde family that was teased in the Season 4 premiere. As Mundy explained back in January, the ambiguity surrounding the exact timing of the accident was intentional.”
