Pedro Pascal showed up to the Golden Globe Awards looking as handsome as ever. The fan-favorite actor wore an all-black ensemble that made him look dapper. However, many of his fans became worried when they immediately noticed that The Mandalorian star was sporting an unusual accessory. Instead of rocking jewelry or other sparking items, he wore a sling on his arm. Of course, everyone wanted to know what happened.
As fans know, Pascal is a very busy man. He’s set for Season 2 of his zombie HBO series The Last of Us, Gladiator 2, and has reportedly been tapped to portray the role of Reed Richards in Fantastic Four. However, it seems that none of his physical roles are why he was rocking the black sling on his arm. The medical hardware was worn around his neck and included a wrap that held his arm close to his chest.
Pedro Pascal Slays in Arm Sling at the Golden Globe Awards
Pedro Pascal didn’t go into detail about his mysterious injury. However, he did tell reporters that the reason for his arm sling was a simple fall, per Page Six. “Be careful. Exactly, it can happen to anybody,” he was heard saying at the event. Of course, in true Pascal fashion, the actor wasn’t above poking fun at himself. He did rock nail polish on his hurt hand, which spelled out the word “Ouch” as a way to joke about his clumsiness.
During the show, Pascal was nominated for a Golden Globe. However, he lost out to Succession star Kieran Culkin, who shouted the actor out in his acceptance speech. “Suck it, Pedro. I’m sorry. Mine!” he said of the award as the room laughed, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Fans now wish Pedro Pascal a speedy recovery as he goes through awards season and is set to film several upcoming projects. However, his injured style is definitely unmatched and weirdly works for the actor.
