Finding Finneon in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl
Although the National Dex is useful in finding hundreds of Pokémon, it’s not needed in this case. Finneon is right in the Sinnoh Dex. Also, it isn’t exclusive. So, you can find Finneon in both Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
Before you start your journey, make sure you have a Good Rod. An Old Rod will not let you catch this Pokémon.
*We should note that with a Super Rod, you increase your chances of catching Lumineon. But if you want to play around with Finneon first and then evolve it into Lumineon, then keep on reading.*
With your Good Rod, which you can get from an NPC around Hearthome City near Route 209, it’s time to go fishing. Finneon is only found in nine locations:
- Route 205
- Route 218
- Route 219
- Route 220
- Route 221
- Canalave City
- Fuego Ironworks
- Iron Island
- Valley Windworks
