The proud mom announced the birth of her newborn on Tuesday, August 22, with an adorable TikTok video featuring her expanding family. In the video, Serena Williams joined her husband, Alexis, on a couch, followed by their daughter, Olympia, before she finally left the scene again and returned with her new baby. She shared their first family photo with their newborn on Instagram, officially revealing her name as Adira River Ohanian. Her post attracted bouts of congratulatory messages.

The proud dad, Alexis, also took to social media to unveil the baby news and express his excitement. In his Instagram post, the dad-of-two shared the beautiful family photo, along with two shots of his daughter cradling the newborn after meeting her for the first time. The first shot showed Serena William’s eldest daughter smiling ear-to-ear as her dad placed the new baby on her lap. In the next photo, the five-year-old placed her tiny fingers on her chest in awe as she lovingly stared at the cute bundle on her lap. Alexis admitted that moment would always remain etched in his heart. He wrote,
