In a surprising turn of events, a court order has banned the RHOA cameras from filming Simon Guobadia’s Rolls Royce. The update adds a new layer of intrigue to Simon Guobadia and Porsha Williams’s messy divorce. Recall that the estranged couple tied the knot in 2022. However, after 15 months of marriage, Williams initiated divorce proceedings against the Nigerian on February 22, 2024. In a court filing, Williams requested the enforcement of their prenuptial agreement. The prenup stipulated that Guobadia must vacate their marital residence in the case of separation.
However, the businessman contested the request. He filed a lawsuit, requesting to block Williams from allowing cameras into the home to film RHOA. The documents also stated that Guobadia was the sole owner of the property. As such, he didn’t consent to the publication of any photos of the house or filming on the property. Guobadia attached a copy of the deed as evidence that Williams didn’t have a stake in the home, which he purchased in November 2021. However, the court eventually granted Williams temporary exclusive occupancy of the residence. Amid Simon Guobadia and Porsha Williams’s ongoing proceedings, the 59-year-old has fired off a new cease and desist letter.
The letter, issued to RHOA producers, demanded that Simon Guobadia’s Rolls Royce can’t be filmed. Recall that the businessman gifted the luxury vehicle to his estranged wife in 2022. “Mr. Guobadia purchased and insured the 2021 Rolls Royce Ghost solely in his name on October 26, 2021. As such, please note that Mr. Guobadia does not consent to the release, disclosure, or publication of the Rolls Royce, nor does he consent to the taping, filming, photography, or recording of the Rolls Royce including any aspects of any activity in or about the Rolls Royce,” the letter read per RadarOnline. Ultimately, failure to comply would result in Guobadia taking legal action accordingly. Meanwhile, Bravo and Williams are yet to respond to the letter.
