On Thursday, the singer showed up to the Kansas City Chiefs game to support the tight end. They later jetted off for a fun-filled weekend. They attended a friend’s wedding, had a double date with Brittany and Patrick Mahomes, and even took in the US Open. However, an expert says that Kelce looks to be growing tired of the spotlight.
After Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s appearance at the US Open, where they were spotted singing and dancing, some fans called them out for their behavior. The couple were even called “trashy” for their over-the-top display. Now, body language expert Darren Stanton is dishing on the beloved pair, per PureWow.
The expert says that even though Swift and Kelce showed off plenty of PDA, they have cooled it off a bit in the year since they began dating. He added, that the NFL star seems to play up his behavior more when the singer is paying attention.

“The PDA from the pair was very full on for a while, holding hands and kissing in public, but this seems to have decreased as time has gone on. [Kelce’s] only really trying when [Swift’s] looking. She’s like a firework as usual, but it’s only when she looks at him that he really engages,” says Stanton.

It’s unlike anything he’s ever experienced before, and it may be catching up to him.
“I believe [Kelce] is becoming less interested with the ‘Taylor Swift circus.’ Even though he is used to the razzmatazz of American football, he’s never experienced anything like this. It is a complete media frenzy circus when they go anywhere together, so it’s possible he is just overwhelmed with it,” he continued. “I believe we will continue to see a gradual decrease in these gestures and signatures with their behavior over the coming weeks.”
This doesn’t mean that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship is in jeopardy. They seem to be very happy together. There have even been reports that they recently got engaged during a trip to the singer’s Rhode Island beach house. However, learning to live in the bright light that follows Taylor looks to be a learning process for Travis.
