Taylor Swift is known for writing songs and even full albums about her love interests. She’s written several songs about her famous ex-boyfriends like Joe Alwyn, Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles, John Mayer, Taylor Lautner, and many more. However, her most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department, seems to be mainly aimed at one man. Many of the songs are reportedly about Swift’s rocky relationship with The 1975 frontman, Matty Healy. Although Healy hasn’t come out against the singer publicly, he is allegedly planning some revenge against the singer.
Sources tell the U.S. Sun that Healy is currently writing a new album for The 1975. Now that Swift’s album has been released and he’s said to be her main inspiration, it seems only fitting that he responds with songs of his own. Insiders tell the outlet that the musician did not sign a NDA while dating Swift, but that he’s chosen to say silent and let his music doing the talking.
Taylor Swift Ex Matty Healy Ready for Revenge?
“Matty is currently keeping a low profile working on The 1975’s next album. This time last week he had no idea he was about to become one of the most talked about men on the planet,” the informant dished. “Like Taylor, he uses his music as a form of release and storytelling. It’s naturally caused him to think about their time together and he’s never been one to hold back when speaking his mind.”
Meanwhile, Matty Healy has moved on from his romance with Taylor Swift. He’s currently dating Gabbriette Bechtel. Of course, Swift has also famously moved on with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Although both parties are removed from their rocky former relationship, the drama certainly isn’t over.
“There is nothing stopping him from writing about his romance with Taylor and having his say on what she said about him. Fans of the band should be keeping an eye out when that album drops,” the insider said.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift fans will likely be out in full force if Matty Healy and The 1975 release a revenge song or album about the beloved star.
