The Daily Mail reports that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship has officially “shifted” the pop star’s “priorities.” Although she’s loved living in New York City over the past decade, her home is now with Kelce. Since he spends most of his time in Kansas City, Swift is willing to leave the Big Apple behind to be closer to her boyfriend.
The songstress reportedly sees the move as an investment for the couple’s future as they plan to “establish roots” before having kids together. “Ideally, she and Travis will live together in one home as they start a family,” a source told the Daily Mail. “This is no different than any other couple with a family.”
Why Nashville and Not Kansas City?
Considering Kelce’s football career has him planted in Kansas City, it would have made so much sense for Swift to move to Missouri. She would have been able to attend his football games at Arrowhead Stadium. Plus, she could have hung out with her famous bestie and fellow Kansas City Chiefs WAG, Brittany Mahomes. So, why did she choose Nashville? Well, it comes down to two big reasons.
First, Swift is already familiar with the city since she used to live there. “Nashville is the place where she started her career,” the source explained, adding that Swift’s move would bring her life “full circle.”
On top of that, Nashville would give Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce some much-needed privacy away from the football world. “It is beautiful and it offers them the peace and tranquility with the assurance of safety that they both require,” the insider said.
Discussions about Swift’s move come a year and a half since she and Kelce first sparked romance romances in the summer of 2023. Since they’re still going strong, fans think it’s only a matter of time before Kelce pops the question.
