Many fans already know that Swift and West’s bad blood first began in 2009 when he interrupted her VMA speech, taking the microphone from her in order to tell the audience that Beyonce should have won the award instead. Years later, when it seemed the pair had resolved their old feud, the rapper again took it a step too far. West name-dropped Swift in his songย Famous, calling the singer a derogatory word. Swift publicly spoke out about the insult, revealing her offense to it. The remarks sparked a media frenzy feud between Swift, West, and his then-wife,ย Kim Kardashian.
Taylor Swift Is Done Feuding With Kanye West
Now, Kanye West is yet again name-dropping Taylor Swift in his new song,ย Carnival. However, rather than call out the rapper in public, Swift is choosing to move forward. “[Taylor] has so much on her plate and isn’t concerned with what Kanye is or isn’t doing,” a source tellsย Us Weekly. “She has no plans on responding publicly or privately.”
In addition to West rapping about Swift again, he’s also spoken out about her in the media as of late. However, theย Love Storyย singer isn’t letting it get to her. Instead, she’s keeping her head up and focusing onย her own life and happiness. “From Taylor’s point of view, this beef is one-sided,” another insider dished to the magazine. “Kanye is trying to get back in the spotlight, and an easy way to do that is through Taylor, who has completely moved on.”
It seems that Kanye West and Taylor Swift may never resolve their bad blood. However, it appears that Swift is ready to move on from the drama.
