The Splatoon 3 Splatfest results are in! Team Nessie takes the Splatfest crown in a battle to see which mystery creature was real all along. The monster-themed Splatfest was somewhat popular on social media, striking conversation about the three mystery creatures that could be roaming our lakes, forests, and atmospheres. The question posed this Splatfest was simple: Which one is real, Bigfoot, Nessie, or Aliens? Communication on social media and through various Splatfest posts made the popular choice clear almost from the very beginning.
Who Won The Halftime Report?
As we all know, the Splatoon 3 Splatfest works a little differently than it ever did for Splatoon 2. In the version that you play today, there are multiple phases for each Splatfest, dividing the progress into a few set categories. First, there are the pre-game totals, before the Splatfest officially begins in earnest; here they do assign a score, and initially, it seemed that Team Nessie was in the lead for a strong start. However, as the weekend progressed and more votes came in, Team Aliens took the lead by just a narrow percentage in time for the Halftime Report.

As you all know, the Halftime Report does two things functionally in a Splatfest. First, it lets people know that their time to get some points for their team is halfway over. That means any shells you want to collect, or any shirts you want to scrub, now’s the time to collect and grind your inkling’s (or octoling’s) heart out. Second, the Halftime Report acts as a marker for who is most likely to win the Splatfest, and in this case, it was Team Alien. After the initial announcement, Mako Mart and other stages were brought forward for the Tri-Color Turf Wars, where the leading team defends the Ultra Signal from the two teams that are behind.
Because the Tri-Color Turf Wars began on Mako Mart, some fans would argue that the defending team, Aliens, had the advantage. However, it seems as the weekend progressed, Team Nessie emerged to show everyone else who was the realest myth out there. Congratulations on the win Team Nessie!
