A woman in Texas sparked backlash online after saying in a viral video that she would run over ICE agents.

ICE has repeatedly said that its agents have faced incidents in which drivers allegedly attempted to strike officers with vehicles during immigration enforcement operations or related demonstrations. In several cases, agents or other law enforcement officers responded by using deadly force, resulting in fatalities. ICE and many of its supporters have argued that such uses of force are justified when officers reasonably believe they face an imminent threat of death or serious bodily harm.

However, some of these incidents have been disputed or have drawn significant public scrutiny, with critics questioning the necessity of the force used and calling for independent investigations and greater accountability.

In the video, the woman said that if she were driving and saw ICE agents pulling someone over and attempting to take them into custody, she would run the agents over. She repeated the threat a second time and ended it with a vulgar remark. After the video spread online, many ICE supporters shared posts identifying her and alleging to reveal her workplace.

Many people believe that, regardless of their views on ICE or its immigration enforcement practices, opposing the agency does not justify threatening or harming its agents. In the context of the viral video, numerous viewers argued that while people have the right to protest, criticize government policies, and advocate for immigration reform, threatening to run over law enforcement officers crosses a line. From this perspective, disagreements over ICE should be expressed through peaceful demonstrations, legal challenges, and the political process rather than through threats or acts of violence against individual officers.

Viewers Attack Texas Woman Over Threat Toward ICE Agents

The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers criticized the Texas woman over the threat she made toward ICE agents, with some arguing that she should face legal consequences for her remarks. “Oh well. Let her try,” one person wrote. Another commenter said, “End up on a shirt and famous for being [expletive] STUPID.”

More viewers condemned the woman’s remarks, with some calling for legal action. “She needs to be jailed,” one person wrote. Others expressed concern for the safety of ICE agents in light of such statements. “Take these threats seriously. They mean it and will follow through. Praying for the safety of all ICE officers. We support you!” another commenter wrote.

The video sparked a conversation about threats directed at ICE agents by some people who oppose the agency and its immigration enforcement practices. It also led to broader discussions about how disagreements with law enforcement policies should be expressed through peaceful and lawful means rather than through threats or violence against officers.
