Back in 2014, Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar worked together on the song “Bad Blood” from Taylor’s 1989 album, but regardless, there’s definitely no bad blood between them as Kendrick’s latest diss track, “Euphoria” hits #1 on Spotify Charts. Luckily, it wasn’t directed at Taylor Swift, but it definitely outdid songs on her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” “Euphoria” was directed straight at Drake, who Lamar has been feuding with for quite a while, with the battle really taking off in March of this year.

Dating back to October of 2023, Drake and J. Cole Released “First Person Shooter”, where Cole rapped that Drake, himself, and Kendrick Lamar are the “big three” of hip hop, but Lamar had other ideas about that. Months later, in March of 2024, Lamar responded in his song with “Like That” and makes some pretty big comments about Drake and Cole “Sneak Dissing,” saying that he doesn’t want anything to do with their “big three,” “it’s just big me.”
After the Lamar verse in “Like that,” a few other rappers got pulled into the mix with J. Cole and Drake responding back and forth with “7 Minute Drill” and “Push Ups,” which dragged Rick Ross and The Weeknd into the mix. Over the course of the last month, more diss track releases have come from Rick Ross, Drake, and even Kanye West up until the release of “Euphoria”. ‘
“An over 6 minutes real diss track did this…. hip hop is alive and well,” says one of Lamar’s fans on Twitter/X.

“Only cause he’s talking about drake. He wouldn’t do these numbers without drake honestly,” says another Twitter/X user.

Overall, Kendrick’s been killing it with his new diss though, and it doesn’t look like he’ll be knocked off the throne anytime soon. Through all this, Taylor has stayed off the feudal radar, but apparently, off Spotify’s radar too as Kendrick’s numbers continue to rise. Though, some people are pretty skeptical and claiming that Lamar wouldn’t be doing as well if it weren’t for the diss track’s connection to Drake.
