Tom Brady seems to not be enjoying his retirement. Recently, Netflix hosted a roast for the former NFL star, and some huge names came out for the fun. Stars like Kim Kardashian, Kevin Hart, and even Rob Gronkowski. However, there were many jokes about the situation regarding Brady’s ex-wife and his children. Those issues stem from Brady coming out of retirement to play another season for Tampa Bay. Brady’s then-wife, Gisele Bundchen, ended up filing for divorce after that decision.
Life and Style magazine reports that Bundchen was also upset with Brady for taking part in the roast. Brady was paid $22 million to be roasted, although Bundchen saw it as Tom selling out his family for an easy paycheck. This was due to the fact that many of the jokes were centered around their divorce.
Gisele Bundchen Is Extremely Upset With Tom Brady
“Tom’s roast was a phenomenal success, but Gisele says he basically sold out his family for an easy paycheck,” the source stated. “She is still furious and telling people Tom never took her or, more importantly, his children’s feelings into consideration. The hurt he’s caused his family isn’t going away anytime soon.”
Gisele Bundchen has some merit behind these statements as well. It is not like Tom Brady is hurting for money at the moment. The seven-time Super Bowl champ just signed a massive $375 million, 10-year deal to be FOX’s lead NFL color commentator.
It is clear that Brady did not think about how the roast would affect his family at all. His children had to hear jokes about their mother having an affair with her jiujitsu instructor, as well as many other nasty jabs.
Tom Brady understands that he has done wrong. However, he has not done anything to try to fix it. Gisele Bundchen has every right to be furious at her ex-husband for his actions. Will Brady ever be able to make things right?
