Over the weekend, Cruise showed off his stunt skills as he helped close the 2024 Paris Olympics. However, many fans thought the actor’s face looked different.
According to The Daily Mail, Tom Cruise, 61, appeared at the Closing Ceremony in Paris to help usher in the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. He performed stunts and passed the torch to the USA as fans watched. Of course, many had plenty to say about Cruise’s looks, including speculating that he may have had some plastic surgery done.

Plastic surgeon Kshem Yapa tells the outlet that the actor may have had a facelift with fat grafting. However, medications such as steroids used for inflammation can also cause weight gain, which can lead to puffiness in various parts of the body, including the face.
Botox can also cause mild face swelling, another possible reason for Cruise’s fuller face look at the Olympics. Meanwhile, age can also play a huge part in face changes.
It’s unclear if Tom Cruise has been using cosmetic surgery to keep his youthful looks. However, fans have noticed that something seems to be different about the A-lister. He certainly wouldn’t be the first Hollywood star to go under the knife in the name of beauty.
