Tom Cruise is reportedly actively ready to start a new life. The Mission Impossible star seems to have come to terms with his estranged and complicated relationships with his three children, adopted son and daughter, Connor and Isabella, and youngest daughter, Suri Cruise.
As he approaches his 63rd birthday this July, the actor is resolute in his decision to find a new partner and start a family. Sources close to Tom Cruise, speaking exclusively to In Touch magazine, shared his excitement about his life in London and his hope to soon find a life partner to build a new, possibly British, family.
” You’d think he’d be satisfied with what he’s got at this point in his life,” a source close to the Mission Impossible states. “But instead he actually is very open to finding someone to have another child with.”
However, this journey might not be as straightforward as it seems. Tom Cruise’s public life and devotion to the Church of Scientology could potentially make some prospective partners hesitant about committing to a long-term relationship with the actor.
During this time, Tom mostly splits his time living between the rural south of England and London to spend more time with his two eldest children, Isabella, 31, and Connor, 29.
Tom Cruise Gives Up On Relationship With Suri Cruise
At this time, it looks as if Tom Cruise has given up hope of reestablishing a relationship with his estranged daughter, Suri Cruise. The only child of Tom and ex-wife Katie Holmes has reportedly made it clear that she has zero desire to have any form of relationship with Tom or her step-siblings.
Suri, 18, recently graduated high school and will soon be leaving her New York home that she shares with her mom, Dawson’s Creek star Katie Holmes, to continue her education in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, at Carnegie Mellon University to study design.
While there have been rumors about Tom Cruise’s desire to reconcile with Suri after her graduation, she recently made a public statement that was allegedly directed at her father. During her graduation ceremony, she announced that she had seemingly dropped his last name and chosen to use her mother’s middle name instead.
According to the insider, Tom Cruise’s relationship status with his kids is a touchy subject. He mostly refuses to discuss his children, but when he does, the actor plays off the family’s tense dynamics.
“Tom’s kids all have their own lives, Suri, Connor and Bella, included and he insists there’s not even the slightest bit of tension between any of them. It really irritates him that anyone’s trying to stir up trouble,” the source dishes. “That being said, it’s not something anyone’s going to bring up around him, everyone knows it’s a totally off-limits subject.”
