Over the Kansa City Chiefs’ bye week, Travis Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, made a big appearance in Major League Baseball. Kelce and Swift attended game one of the ALCS as the Cleveland Guardians took on the New York Yankees in NYC. However, while Kelce is from Ohio, he did not wear any kind of Guardians gear. After the game, he opened up about being in enemy territory, but the Cleveland fans seemed to disagree with what the tight end had to say.
Page Six reports that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s PDA-filled ALCS adventure was not well received by some fans. Kelce opened up about being in “hostile territory” during the game. However, the two were in a suit and not wearing any Cleveland Guardians gear. This led some fans to call out Kelce, as they believed that, “This is a bit dramatic.”
Fans Talk About Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s MLB Antics
Those same fans took to the article’s comment section to voice their opinions.
“They remind me of Harry and Markle – can’t keep their hands off each other in public seems a bit childish to me,” one fan said.
“This is a bit dramatic. He didn’t rep Cleveland at all. He sat away from the other fans. Nothing hostile about it. He’s blowing it out of proportion,” writer another.
Finally, one stated, “If Taylor and Travis came decked out in their Guardians gear, I might buy this.“
It seems like the world may be sick of all the PDA and drama that comes with this couple.
While Travis Kelce already made Guardians fans unhappy by not wearing any merchandise. The NFL star also was seen smiling when the Yankees hit a home run. Cleveland would go on to drop game one in NYC. However, the series is not over yet. Maybe Taylor Swift and her boyfriend can right their wrongs as the ALDC shifts to Cleveland on Thursday.
