Travis Kelce isn’t holding back when it comes to setting the record straight about his romance with Taylor Swift. The pair, who have been one of the most talked-about celebrity couples of the past year, have been rumored to be going through a rough patch as of late. However, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is making it clear that the rumors are false. Instead, he says that he and the singer are extremely happy together.
During the latest edition of Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast, he and his brother Jason Kelce welcomed a special guest. The siblings interviewed Travis’ Grotesquerie star, Niecy Nash. During the interview, the Super Bowl champ admitted that Nash always has his back when it comes to rumors and questions about his relationship with Taylor Swift.
Nash dished that people began texting her when they found out that she was working with Kelce. Of course, they wanted to know anything and everything about him and Swift.

“They’re like, ‘Well, what do you know about his relationship?’” Nash stated. “I’m like, ‘Get out of that man’s business!’”
Nash went on to reveal that the “nosy” people aren’t getting any info out of her when it comes to Swift and Kelce’s relationship. Of course, Travis was very grateful for his co-star’s respectful outlook.
“I appreciate you,” he said. “Every time someone has a mic in front of you and asks you something like that, thank you for always showing love. You know it’s real. And you know that me and Tay are absolutely happy, and I appreciate you always making sure everybody knows that,” he added.
This comes just weeks after an alleged PR document detailing Taylor and Travis’ public breakup strategy was leaked online. However, Kelce’s team quickly shut down the rumors, calling the documents “false and fabricated,” per Page Six.
Meanwhile, some fans weren’t thrilled with Kelce speaking out on his romance with Swift. Instead of making it believable, some claimed it only fueled the fire.
“If you have to put out a news article that your relationship is real, that speaks volumes. Sounds more like he’s following the script and playing his part, you know…since he’s an ‘actor’ now,” one person commented.
“Just keep one thing in your life private. Nobody needs to know everything,” another stated.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are currently separated due to work obligations. However, when the singer’s tour ends in December, fans are looking forward to seeing them together more often.
