Raking in the real world has some useless effects like keeping your yard and sidewalks clean and maintained. In Embervale, you don’t need to worry about those things since you don’t have neighbors. Instead, you can use the rake for things like leveling the ground, angling cliff faces, and, apparently, reproducing roads and flowerbeds. You don’t need to search far and wide in Enshrouded to find tons of different terrain types. It’s a game, just pull out your rake and level the ground to magically make more ground.
All Hail The Power of Enshrouded’s Rake
The rake is a preliminary tool you can use to level out the land around you in Enshrouded. You can angle cliff faces to be less grueling and make the farmstead around your base nice and even. Do you want a road but only have one Dirst Road block? Pull it out and use your rake on it to spread it around. Do you want a field of beautiful flowers but only have one Flower Soil block? Put those flowers in the ground and make the most beautiful wildflower garden.
The best part is that after you’ve spread out everything, you can mine it back using the pickaxe. Maybe you just need a lot of Farm Soil or dirt for some reason. If you do, you can spread out several squares of Farm Soil using the rake only to mine it all with the pickaxe. Now, you’re making something out of what used to be nothing. We haven’t seen it done, but you can probably just rake your way through hills and mountains if you want to. For now, we’ll be using this tip to make our base look less like an abandoned former minefield.
