Actor Vince Vaughn is reportedly unrecognizable these days. The Wedding Crashers star has reportedly recently dropped a ‘ton of weight’ and now is said to resemble another Hollywood celebrity closely.
The Daily Mail reports that Vince Vaughn’s new Apple TV+ detective series, Bad Monkey, will begin airing on August 14. Vince has been making the rounds to promote the new series.
One thing that his fans have immediately noticed is a much thinner Vince Vaughn. The Bad Monkey star has reportedly dropped an undisclosed but significant amount of weight for the role. So much so that, per DM, he is nearly unrecognizable and now resembles Ben Affleck.
The actor, best known for his roles in films including The Breakup, Fred Claus, Psycho, and Wedding Crashers, was last seen publicly in 2023 with his wife Kyla Weber and his family at a Los Angeles Lakers game.
During the family outing, the publication noted that Vince looked much fuller. He has since laid low, dieted, and exercised in preparation for his upcoming series. However, more has changed for Vince Vaughn than just his weight and appearance.
Vince Vaughn Scoops Up Part-Owner of Professional Pickleball Team
It seems that these days, everyone, including celebrities, loves pickleball, including Vince. So it makes sense that when Vince Vaughn was given the opportunity to become a part-owner of the National Pickleball League’s Coachella Valley Scorpions, he jumped at the opportunity.
According to CBS News, the Scorpions were established in May. They are one of 12 teams in the 50-and-over professional league that launched in 2022 and has a rapidly growing fanbase. The network also reports that team co-owner Kim Jagd, also on the Scorpions’ roster, will retain a minority ownership status.
“I have always enjoyed the game and in meeting Kim I was impressed with her, not only as a player but her passion and style of coaching,” Vaughn said in a statement. “I’m excited to support her and the Scorpions on their journey.”
So, Vince Vaughn seems to have plenty to keep himself busy with his new Apple TV series and Pickleball team. Now, if he could only get Ben Affleck to join him on the series or the court fans could get an up-close comparison of the alleged celebrity look-alikes.
