Kelly Ripa has sparked weight worries as fans deem her far too skinny on Instagram. In December 2023, a dedicated fan account reposted a festive holiday snap of the 53-year-old, one showing her all smiles with husband Mark Consuelos as the couple posed by their Christmas tree.
Showing off her incredibly toned figure, Kelly honored the holiday season in a crystal-studded green dress, but talk in the comments was less about the Xmas look and more about Kelly’s weight. While some deemed the talk show host “very skinny,” others called her “way too thin.” Some, however, thought that there was no place for skinny-shaming on social media and that Kelly’s weight should be left out of it.

Putting on a couple’s display with 1996-married husband Mark, Kelly stunned in a plunging, forest-green dress covered in shimmery sequins.
Highlighting her super-slim arms and shoulders while flashing hints of her chest, the mom of three wore her light locks down, with fans also seeing the pleated red skirt forming the lower part of her dress. Wearing barely any makeup and diamond stud earrings, Kelly flew the flag for class, with cohost hubby Mark looking dapper in a black shirt. The photo had originally been shared to Kelly’s Instagram, with a tag shouting out Riverdale star Mark’s IG.
Fans got busy commenting, and it looked like many thought that Kelly was too slender.
Worried Fans Say She’s ‘Way Too Thin’
Sending love and kind thoughts, one user said: “I worry that she has been so sick on and off. I Pray you’re well Kelly.”
Gaining likes, another user wrote: “Kelly is way too thin!” Meanwhile, over 28 users agreed when a further user said: “Good lord sheโs so thin.” Echoing the thought, a further user replied: “Unfortunately she looks unhealthyโฆ sheโs a pretty lady.”
Kelly, who is known for being petite, works out regularly with trainer Anna Kaiser. The former actress has also revealed a healthy diet packed with nut butters, oats, and salads, but she will treat herself. In 2020, Kelly made headlines for ordering a McRib to her NYC home as a one-off treat.
While one user queried if Kelly had an eating disorder, another jumped in to shut down the weight comments. “Mind your own body and health please. I do not like body-shaming comments. I think people can be jealous and cruel. Stop it,” they wrote.
Also defending Kelly was the fan retorting: “Sheโs very petite and works out..Jesus can you people just give it a rest?”
