Fans will know Emily Osment for her role as Mandy McAllister in Young Sheldon, but she has been working in the industry long before this (think back to her Hannah Montana days alongside Miley Cyrus). Her career is going well, but Osment’s personal life is also thriving and she will soon be getting married to fiancé Jack Anthony. And for the actress, the wedding date cannot come fast enough. She recently expressed her desire to get married (after getting engaged in Yosemite in June 2023).
Emily Osment Talks About Her Wedding Plans
In a recent interview with People, Emily Osment discussed her wedding plans for her upcoming celebration with her favorite person. “I cannot wait to be married,” she confessed. “I wish we could just jump to that.” She only plans to walk down the aisle once, so it’s a big deal. She intends to take her time planning every detail of her wedding.
“It’s so exciting, and we have to constantly remind ourselves, you’re only going to do this once,” she told the publication of her Fall 2024 nuptials. “So you might look at 1000 pictures of what looks like the exact same chair. And your wedding planner will say, ‘What kind of chairs do you want?’ And I’ll say, ‘Yes, there should be chairs there.’ And she’ll say, ‘No, but what kind of chairs?’ And I’ll say, ‘I don’t care. There should just be chairs.’ It’s a little bit like that.”
Osment admitted to spending time on even the “very small decisions.” Why? because she believes they will ultimately impact how great her day is. She added, “Because at the end of the day, you get to be married, and that’s the greatest thing ever.”
Emily Osment may be focusing her attention on making sure this day is perfect but she has already found the perfect person for her.
