In honor of the 25th Anniversary of Jurassic Park, a 25-foot statue of Jeff Goldblum has been erected in London’s Potter’s Field, right next to the city’s iconic Tower Bridge.

The statue, which portrays the famous scene in which Goldblum is laying on his side with his shirt open, is the work of NOW TV, a UK telecoms company. Oddly enough, the statue will not be up for long. According to NOW TV the statue will only be available until dinnertime tonight, after that it will be taken down. If you’re in the area act fast if you want a picture with a giant bare-chested Goldblum (who wouldn’t?).

Can you believe #JurassicPark is 25? 🤭🦖🦕

To celebrate, we’ve created a Jurassic-sized homage to heartthrob Jeff Goldblum 😍😍😍

Although the anniversary was officially on June 11th, the statue was put up on Wednesday. The statue stands at over 9.8 feet tall, 23 feet long, and weighs 331 pounds. It apparently took a substantial amount of hours to make: 250 hours over six weeks.

Many Londoners have been confused by the statue’s sudden appearance as Jurassic Park was never filmed in London nor is Jeff Goldblum a London native. Nevertheless, that didn’t stop numerous Londoners from taking selfies with the giant Goldblum and posting them to their Instagrams and Twitters.

The now 65-year-old actor once described to IGN how the scene came to be. Goldblum vaguely recalled how director Steven Spielberg slyly asked him to unbutton his shirt and rub oil on his chest for the scene.

Jeff Goldblum has been on a role lately as he continues his Hollywood resurrection. Not only did we see him as the spectacularly strange Grandmaster in last year’s Thor: Ragnorak, but Goldblum just reprised his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm in this summer’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which is currently in theaters.

Nobody is sure what next role Goldblum will take but be rest assured, it will have that curious spark that always accompanies a Jeff Goldblum character.
