Ubisoft has announced that they will have a conference at E3 2019. After a turbulent year leading up to the yearly gaming event, E3 will have another major player returning this year. Ubisoft announced on Twitter that they will hold their annual press conference on Monday, June 1o.

Ubisoft will be taking up their usual time slot of 1 p.m. PDT/ 4 a.m. EST at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles. The conference generally lasts about an hour and boasts major game announcements and updates on existing titles. It is safe to assume that Ubisoft will continue on this trajectory for this years E3 conference.

So what should fans expect to be shown at this years Ubisoft E3 conference? Well, there are a few titles that have been shown before that have yet to be released. Namely, Skull & Bones, Ubisoft’s pirate ship naval game is coming out later this year. The title looks like it’s taking the ship combat from Assasins Creed: Black Flag and expanding on it to make it a fully fleshed out multiplayer experience. Expect to see more information on that title.

The next title that is almost a guarantee to be shown is Beyond Good and Evil 2. The sequel to the seminal Beyond Good and Evil was surprised announced at E3 2017. Since then, they have only sprinkled out information about the game. Fans should expect a big blow out if the game is expected to be released in the next year at Ubisoft’s E3 conference this year.

As for updates on existing titles, fans should expect to hear more about Ubisoft’s games as service titles. The Division 2 just launched with a warm critical reception. They have a whole year worth of free content lined up so a bit of information on what is to come should be expected. Older titles like Rainbow Six Seige, For Honor, and Assasins Creed: Odyssey will also likely be discussed in some capacity.

Speculating on new announcements is where this gets fun. Watch Dogs 2 launched in 2016 and though it didn’t sell well, it garnered a lot of goodwill from those who played it. A sequel very well could be in the works at Ubisoft and now might be the time to show it off. Additionally, the stealth action Splinter Cell series has been rumored to be making a comeback for quite some time now. A new entry in the series would certainly be a massively exciting announcement for the publisher.

What do you expect to be shown at this year’s Ubisoft E3 press conference? Leave a comment below and tell us what you think!
