EA has announced they will be revealing the details of season 2 for Apex Legends at E3 2019. The details of season 2 will be revealed at the EA Play Conference on June 7. The event will be broadcasted live from Los Angeles, California. The new season is said to be bigger and better than ever.

The CEO of EA, Andrew Wilson, stated they have plans for the long haul of the game during an earnings call:

“We’re now very focused on delivering for this massive global community with long-term live service, including new seasons with more robust Battle Pass content, new legends, and exciting evolutions to the in-game environment,”

They have stated the second season will begin at the end of the current quarter. The current quarter ends at the end of June. So the second season is set to come out soon.

Apex Legends

Apex Legends is already in their first season right now. Based off of the general fan reaction so far, the first season didn’t start off very well. In between the start of the first season and now, there has a been a steep decline of streamers playing the game. After some time, Respawn made some updates that weren’t very well appreciated by the community. To be fair, the first season also brought some cool new skins to the weapons and characters.

EA is hoping to bring back players and streamers to the second season of Apex Legends with their new material. The second season has been said to, “evolve,” the surroundings of the map. This is very much familiar with how Fortnite changes their map with every new season.

What are your thoughts on this news? Are you still enjoying Apex Legends? What do you hope to see from the game at E3 2019? Let us know in the comments below!
