The co-parenting situation between exes Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is only getting worse with the holiday season already here. Following their divorce in 2022, the SKIMS founder has often described herself as a single parent. She regularly laments how the rapper is barely present. However, the pressure of getting Kanye to spend the holidays with the kids is pushing her to the wall.
Per a source, she is failing woefully at trying to reunite Kanye with their kids — North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. “Kim has been trying her best to make it all work but she’s hitting her breaking point,” the insider explained. “She knows her kids want to see their dad over the holidays, but she can’t even pin him down for what days he will be around.” Kim is reportedly so frustrated because of how “so unpredictable” the Yeezy founder can be with their children. Kanye can either “swoop in at the last minute and demand to have all kinds of time with them” or “he’ll go totally MIA.”
Since Kim can’t figure out Kanye’s schedule, she has considered the less stressful option. She has thought of inviting him to a family celebration. However, the reality of that happening is low given the tense family dynamics. “She knows things between him and her mom are so tense that it would ruin the holiday, not to mention the rest of her family can’t stand him,” the informant told InTouch Weekly. With both options failing, the mother-of four is heartbroken and already considers the holidays “a total mess.”
“She’s on tenterhooks waiting for what Ye’s going to do, which is just so unfair, but it’s not as though she can just shut him out and forget about him. She’d never do that to her kids.”
Kim Kardashian Laments ‘Insane’ Parenting Situation With Kanye West
Reports about the contentious holiday arrangement, comes shortly after Kim Kardashian got candid about her parenting struggles. While chatting with her BFF Zoe Winkler, the billionaire revealed her situation is “insane.” According to her, she is “basically raising four kids by myself.” She then added:
“You and I have mostly connected on parenting and judgment, and you know, feeling like sometimes you’re in this alone.”
The 44-year-old confessed to often feeling overwhelmed juggling four kids. However, she isn’t allow to complain because she is often met with criticism. “It’s not something that I talk about a lot because I feel like there is always a lot of judgment,” Kim shared. “Or people always will jump to the, ‘Oh, but you have the resources to have nannies and to have help.” The socialite confessed that regardless of the support she has, parenting often feels like she is “at a pitstop of a racecar driver.”
